Yep, as did most the beauty blogging world, I got this free Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner with Marie Claire. And the magazine was discounted from the normally £3.60 to £2.50 so I couldn't not buy it.

I hadn't heard too much on Eyeko before this free gift, but I will be investigating more of their products for sure. But I since noticed they stock on ASOS, so God knows how I missed them. Normally a gel girl, a felt tip was a brand new experience and I was very worried that, well it would look like felt tip applied. I straight away loved the packaging, I adore nicely packaged and expensive looking products, regardless of the cost. I expect Primark makeup to look expensive, wishful think but hey ho. With the silver metal packaging this really stands out against those plastic tube.

To my surprise here it was very easy to apply, straight lines are not my forte but I did manage it with this. Lack of art skills aside, the nib is thick enough to create a visible line but not too thin that you get the felt tip look. The formula seems fairly thick and I didn't get any uncovered patches, plus this stayed put for around 5 hours. This may last longer but I took it off as I was going to bed.

Overall, I am very happy with this. Especially being a freebie. Can't say I'll replace my gel liner with Eyeko's offering but this is one of the best eyeliners I've tried in a while. Good one Miss Marie Clarie.
